How does Smooth Wind Kites ship?

Orders are normally shipped within 24-48 hours.  We primarily ship via USPS Priority mail; however, some orders may be shipped via FedEx or UPS.  We offer a flat shipping rate of $3.99 for orders under $79 within the contiguous United States.  Orders over $79 are shipped for free.  In the event that a product is out of stock or there is an issue with your order, we will notify you via email within 24 hours.

International shipping is not currently available.

What is your return policy?

We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase from Smooth Wind Kites.  We will accept any returns in new condition in the original unopened packaging up to 45 days beyond the date of purchase.  We are fully confident in the quality of the products we sell; however, in the rare instance of a defective item or mistake on our part, we will refund the full amount of the product or send you any necessary replacement parts free of charge.

Where can I find a replacement part for my kite?

Due to the varying nature of replacement parts, we do not carry a specific inventory in our store.  We will; however, do everything that we can to find you the part you need - even if you did not buy your kite from us. Simply fill out the form on our Contact Us page with your specific request and we will get back to you ASAP on availability and timing.

How do I change or cancel my order?

You may change or cancel your order any time prior to shipment by emailing us at sales@smoothwindkites.com.  If your order has already shipped, you may return the unopened product in conjunction with our Return Policy.

What is Smooth Wind Kites' commitment to customer service?

We believe that flying a kite is one of the most enjoyable activities out there and we want the process of purchasing that kite to be just as enjoyable.  We understand the hesitation in making purchases online and we want you to be confident that you made the right choice in purchasing from our family here at Smooth Wind Kites.  If you experience any problems during the purchase process or the receipt of your order, let us know and we will make it right.  That is our commitment to you!

I can't find the product I'm looking for in your store.

Looking for a specific design on your kite or the kite you just saw, but aren't quite sure what it's called?  Send us a message at customer_service@smoothwindkites.com describing what you are looking for and we will respond ASAP to let you know if we can get it and how soon we can have it delivered to your door.

Does Smooth Wind Kites participate in the American Kite Association merchant program?

Yes, we do!  Please send an email to sales@smoothwindkites.com with your AKA membership number and we will provide instructions to obtain your discount.
